Let’s
give life a
chance

Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour is a rare and aggressive sarcoma that has no standard treatment.

Despite the survival rates for many cancers rising significantly over the past 20 years, survival rates and treatment for DSRCT have remained largely stagnant. Too rare to be a priority for either pharmaceutical companies or governments; previous research has been largely funded by families. As the first international charity dedicated to the support of those diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour and their families via our community support groups and events we aim to bring together both those needing support and those campaigning for change under one umbrella.

Together we will fund the research that gives life a chance. Together we will make a difference.

Finding a cure

We are now working towards our second phase of research which will focus on ensuring that those with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour can live a full life for as long as possible with the management of side effects and palliative care.

We can’t do this without your help!

How to get involved

Despite affecting young people, who have typically previously been healthy, five year survival rates remain at just 15%. There is currently no global standard of care; no treatment that has proven to be universally effective. Although chemotherapy often works in the beginning, the cancer typically grows resistant quickly.

We need your help to change this!

Giving your support

The rarity of Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour means that many of those diagnosed won’t meet others with the same diagnosis in their local hospitals. Whilst some will travel to larger treatment centres we believe strongly that this is a diagnosis that no-one should face alone.
